Darrell and Michelle own and operate Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory and work together to keep the funeral home running smoothly.
Darrell was born and raised in Buchanan County and began his career in funeral service in 1970. He graduated from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 1977 and is a Funeral Service Licensee in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Michelle was born and raised in Bedford County and received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Roanoke College in 1983.
They belong to Central Church and together with their five children and grandchildren, have made Radford their home and love being involved in many local civic, school and church activities.

Eli and Kayla Mullins

Eli was born in Radford, the son of Darrell and Michelle, and has been involved in the funeral business his whole life. He graduated from Radford High School in 2012. Kayla was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. She is the first generation of her side of the family to work in funeral business. Eli and Kayla met in 2013 while in school for Mortuary Science. They both graduated from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 2014. Eli received his Funeral Service License in 2015 and Kayla received her license in 2016. They were married in September of 2017 and currently reside in Radford with their two children.

Eli was born in Radford, the son of Darrell and Michelle, and has been involved in the funeral business his whole life. He graduated from Radford High School in 2012. Jacob was born and raised in Tiffin, Ohio. He graduated with his Bachelor's degree from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science with Eli and Kayla in 2014. Jacob married his wife, Veronica, in December of 2022. They relocated to Radford with their two dogs in January of 2023 and he became licensed in March. Jacob attends St. Jude Catholic Church in Radford and is a member of the Knights of Columbus as a 4th degree knight.

Charlie has been employed with our funeral home since 1999. Since then, he has taken part in many of the day to day operations over the years. Currently, he is an operator of our on site crematory. He and his wife are members of Gethsemane Baptist Church and reside in Radford.
