Zula Vernia Harris Price, 79, of Radford, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at Montgomery Regional Hospital. She was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church and was also for over 20 years owner and manager of the Waffle Shop in Radford. Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Charles Price of Radford; a daughter, Carolyn Wolf of Hilton Head, SC; three grandchildren, Mike Price and his wife Donna of Dublin, Ronnie Price of Waldorf, MD and Rhmalda George of Partlow; a brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Phyllis Harris of Radford; three sisters and brother-in-law, Dotte and Lynwood Foster and Eula Phillips, both of Christiansburg, and Bernice Albert of Lynchburg; 11 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 1, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Gethsemane Baptist Church in Radford with Pastor Jerry Gibson officiating. Interment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 2840 Electric Road, Suite 106A, Roanoke, VA 24018. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. The Price family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
