William Bill Garking Ritenour, 84, passed away Saturday, July 26, 2008 at his home in Radford. He was a U. S. Army veteran having served during WWII. He was a plumber by trade but loved gardening and spent many hours reading and learning interesting facts that he loved sharing with his many friends in the Radford community. He was born in Princeton, WV the son of the late Garland W. and Florence Garking Ritenour. Survivors include his wife of 60 years Inge N. Ritenour; son Siegfried O. Ritneour; grandson Carter G. Ritenour; and sister Betty Wright. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the West View Cemetery in Radford with Rev. O. D. Morgan officiating and where members of VFW Post #776 will conduct military graveside rites. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Ritenour family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
