William David DeCosta, Sr., 67, passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at his home in Dublin. He was a U. S. Army veteran having served during Vietnam. He was preceded in death by his father, William DeCosta. Survivors include his wife, Victoria K. DeCosta; his mother, Alma M. DeCosta of Pulaski; sons and daughters-in-law, David and Kathie DeCosta of Dublin, Jimmy and Hanna DeCosta of Florida, Dan and LeAnn DeCosta of Radford and David Lee, Jr. and Jennifer Burton of Ft. Campbell, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Sierra and Garland Stuart of Pulaski; sisters and brother-in-law, Marie Morris of Kernersville, NC, and JoAnn and Robert Herndon of Pulaski; brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael and Sheri DeCosta, and Steven and Melodie DeCosta, all of Christiansburg; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and brother-in-law and his wife, John and Martha Kilbert of Pulaski. Graveside memorial services will be held Friday, September 13, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin with Rev. Terry Hodge officiating. The DeCosta family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
