William Bill Jon Camp, 69, of Dublin, passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2010. He was born in West Virginia, the son of Whilmina Camp Mayes and the late Paul Camp. As a young man he did Summer Stock in Saugatuck, MI, starring in The Odd Couple and Lil Abner. He volunteered for several years as an EMT with the Vinton First Aid Crew and Roanoke Emergency Medical Services and went on to work as a Paramedic for Carilion Patient Transportation Services for 13 years. He loved to fish and read, and had a great love for music and history. He was preceded in death by his father and his wife, Jane Ellen Camp. Survivors include his children, Niely Morgan, Gerald Camp, and Rebecca Garnett; and his grandchildren, Zack, Amelia, Cameron, Garrett, Gillian, Ashlyn and Kaden. Memorial services will be held Thursday, March 11, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. The Camp family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
