William Horace (Buddy) Bales, Jr., 68, of Monticello, GA, formerly of Christiansburg, passed away Saturday, January 8, 2011. Survivors include his wife Rena Bales of Monticello, GA; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Tim Assad of Parrott, VA and Lori and Keith Mullins of Radford, VA; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jason and Michelle Bales of Eggleston, VA and Buddy Wayne and Shelia Bales of Dickson, TN; two brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Linda Bales of Huntington, TN and Tony and JoAnn Bales of Lyles, TN; two sisters and brother-in-law, Patsy Polisky of Lyles, TN and Judy and Lloyd Hayes of Bonaqua, TN; and ten grandchildren. As per his request, he will be cremated and services will be private. The Bales family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford and Metro Crematory in Connors, GA.
