Willard Graham (Deacon) Jones, 75, passed away Friday, May 17, 2013 at his home in Dublin surrounded by his family. Deacon was a member of Dublin Christian Church and was a master electrician retiring from Lynchburg Foundry with 32 years of service. He also proudly served in the U. S. Marine Corp. He was born in Wytheville the son of the late Carl Stewart and Minnie Gertrude Harris Jones. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a brother, Carl Rudolph Jones and a nephew, Blair Jones. Survivors include his loving wife, Rita Anderson Jones of Dublin; son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Trish Jones of Belspring; daughters and sons-in-law, Leigh Ann and Ron Hinds of Roanoke and Robin and Jeff Levy of Belspring; grandchildren, Kelli Elizabeth Beckner of Roanoke and Addison Paige Levy of Radford; great-granddaughter, Eileigh Raye Beckner of Roanoke; brother and sister-in-law, Norman and Tenny Jones of Radford; sister and brother-in-law, Minnie Gaye and Larry Dunford of Radford; special sister-in-law and husband, Peggy and Roger Palmer of Radford; special brother-in-law and his wife, Michael and Susan Anderson of Belspring; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; a multitude of friends and church family. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 20, 2013 at 12 Noon at the Dublin Christian Church with Mr. Terry Hodge and Russell Gordon officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 10:00 am at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Dublin Christian Church Building Fund or to the American Cancer Society.
