Wilfred Lane Moricle, 83, of Christiansburg, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2011 with his wife at his side and in the loving care of the staff of Beulah House. He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Lottie Moricle; brothers, Leonard, Alvin, Dayton, and Lance Moricle; sisters, Virgie Moran and Donie Reed, and a special nephew, Lane A. Moricle. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Geraldine "Jerri" Roop Moricle and several nieces. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at 2 p.m. in the Mullins Funeral Home Chapel, Radford, with the Rev. Troy Mays officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.
