Wendy Elaine Ford Strock, 53, of Dublin, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2015. She was a member of Belmont Christian Church and was retired supervisor with J. C. Penney. She was preceded in death by her father, Minister Jack Harrison Ford. Survivors include her husband, Donald F. Strock of Dublin; mother, Anna F. Ford of New Castle; brothers, Donn Ford of New Castle and Lee Ford of Salem; sister and brother-in-law, Karol and Brian Moses of New Castle; several nieces and nephews; step son, Terry Strock of Roanoke; step daughters, Donna Bell of Coca, Fla., and Angela Harden of Ceres; sister-in-law, Patti Strock of Bland; brothers-in-law, Dickie Strock of Bland and Randy Strock of Fredericksburg; and several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Pastor Jim Bane and Pastor Beaver Terry officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family will receive friends from 5 - 7 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure or to the American Cancer Society.
