Warren Gray Scott, 80 of Dublin, passed away Sunday, September 14, 2008 at his home. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Radford and a US Army veteran having served in the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his parents Donald Hobart and Nellie Gray Scott, and a brother, J. Reginald Scott. Survivors include his wife, Hubertien Helen Scott of Dublin; two daughters and sons-in-law, Tina and Donald Secreast of Radford and Elizabeth and Gary Ramdeen of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; two sons and daughters-in-law Richard and Gail Williams of Lenoir, NC and John and Maxine Williams of Williamsburg; five grandchildren, Hubi Secreast, Estee Secreast, Ian Ramdeen, Kellie Ramdeen and Seth Williams; two brothers, Donald Hobart Scott, Jr. of Marietta, GA and Harold Eugene Scott of Bishop, CA; two sisters, Nellie Melba Cornwell of Ft. Myers, FL and Helen Catherine Dickens of Radford; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Paul Lane and Rev. Kent Taylor officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the First Baptist Church Vision Fund, 215 Third Avenue, Radford, VA 24141. The Scott family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
