Vivian Pauline Cregar Hensley, age 90, beloved grandmother and great-grandmother went to be with her Lord on January 11, 2009. Vivian was born November 22, 1918, in Crockett, VA. With her husband Paul she made her home in Radford and later South Hill, retiring from many years of service at Brodnax Mills. When her husband and son began clock collecting, she joined in the hobby and greatly enjoyed refinishing them and cleaning their works. She recently moved to be with her granddaughter in Michigan, relishing the time they got to spend together and seeing more of her two great-granddaughters. Vivian was preceded in death by her husband Paul Grant Hensley, her son Dr. Larry Donald Hensley, her sisters Lila Byrd, Ola Vaughan, Cecil Vaughan, Ruby and Myrtle, and her brothers Jack, Jim, Lynn and Raymond. She is survived by her granddaughter, Lynnette (Ken) Koster of Byron Center, MI; two great granddaughters, Keri Lynnae and Kaitlyn Victoria; two brothers, Eddie Cregar of Rural Retreat and Fred (Jean) Cregar of Point Arena, CA; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 16, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Pastor Troy Hickman of LaCrosse Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in the West View Cemetery in Radford. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday.
