Virginia Love Hubbard Whited, 81, of Dublin, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2011. She was a member of Rockford United Methodist Church. She was born May 15, 1929 in Swords Creek and was the daughter of the late Arnold Dickerson and Magnora Miller Hubbard. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 57 years, Carl William Whited. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Larry William and Mary Ann Whited of Radford, and Daniel Wayne and Diane Whited of Pulaski; two daughters Cathy Turpin and Ms.Teresa Whited, both of Dublin; three brothers, James, Billy and Jerry Hubbard, all of Shelby, Ohio; five sisters, Mary Alice Brewer of Bean Station, TN, Sadie Mae Street of Belair, MD, Anna Marcolina of PA, Betty Shepherd of Honaker, and Myrtle Rose Myers of Hepron, MD; 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 14, 2011 at 2 pm at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Rev. Darlene Marshall officiating. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5 8 pm at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held Monday, May 16, 2011 at 11 am at Greenhills Memory Gardens in Claypool Hill. The Whited family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
