Virginia Wade Watson, 80, of Max Meadows, passed away Thursday, June 22, 2023. Virginia was preceded in death by her first husband, Glenn Watson, Jr.; her parents, Romma and Hettie Wade; brothers, Harvey and Howard Wade; and sister, Betty Price. Virginia was a member of Grace Baptist Church and a retired nurse with 55 years of service. She had a passion for animals and was a diehard Dallas Cowboys, Michigan and Texas football fan. Survivors include her husband, Charles Edward Leonard; sons, Glenn C. Watson, III and Ricky A. Watson; grandchildren, Stephanie, Ryan, Alyssa, Trent, and Benjamin; niece, Sandra Beasley; brothers-in-law, Billy and Allen Watson; sister-in-law, Charlotte Bryant; and many other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 11 am until 12 pm on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at Grace Baptist Church in Dublin. Funeral services will begin at 12 pm with Pastor Doug Testerman officiating.
