Virginia Woodrum Buckland 93 of Radford passed away Saturday, July 26, 2014 at Commonwealth Assisted Living in Radford. She was a retired nurse at Radford Community Hospital and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn Jordan and Lucy Walker Woodrum her husband of 58 years, Carl H. Buckland and a grandson Joshua W. Brown Survivors include two daughters and son-in-law, Susan E. Buckland, Radford, and Karen and Bobby Brown of Pulaski, a son and daughter-in-law, Mark S. and Becky Buckland, Dublin, grandchildren, Nathan & Cari Brown, Palmyra, VA, Jared Buckland, Virginia Beach, VA, Ben Buckland, Charlottesville, VA, great grandchildren, Sean Wyatt and Clare Evelyn Brown, Palmyra, VA, brother, William F. Woodrum, Portsmouth, Ohio sister, Marian Woodrum, New Boston, Ohio. Interment will be at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday in the Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church in Radford with Rev. O.D. Morgan and Rev. Bryan Cockram officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday at Calvary Baptist Church In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to the Missions Fund at Calvary Baptist Church, 624 Sixth St., Radford, VA 24141 or the Billy Graham Crusades 1 Billy Graham Parkway, Charlotte, NC 28201.
