Virginia (Ginny) Anderson, 82 of Dublin died suddenly on Monday, August 13, 2007, after a long courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis. She was preceded in death by her husband Carl W. Anderson, parents, Glenna and John Long, Sr. and by a brother John Long, Jr. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Terri and Jeff Goad of Dublin; a son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Karen Anderson of Ashburn; three grandchildren, Abby Holbrook of Radford, and Wesley and Sarah Anderson of Ashburn; and a brother, Bill Long of Pawleys Island, SC. Ginny was employed by Bryan Huddle Jewelers in Radford for approximately 13 years and she will long be remembered for her beautiful smile and laughter. She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her and especially by her two little angels who gave her much love and laughter, Alyssa and Olivia Altizer. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 17, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Rev. Gina Rhea officiating. Entombment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Dublin. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Mullins Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 1 Martin Drive, Suite 106, Charlottesville, VA 22903.
