Violet May Hanks McPeak, 97, of Radford, passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2009. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mrs. Louise Wilson and a son, Frog McPeak. Survivors include two daughters, Bobby Jean Jewell and husband Jerry of New River and Mary Burleson of Pembroke; 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff of the Radford Rehab Center and Dr. Mickael Conatser for all of their support. A memorial service will be held Thursday, November 12, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Rev. James Walker officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service. The McPeak family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
