Thomas Hoge Wheeling, 71, of Barren Springs, passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2013. He was a retired truck driver with Overnite Trucking. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis A. and Dora M. Wheeling, and granddaughters, Robin M. Cox and Ashley N. Carden. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy W. and Randy Horton of Hillsville, Hope W. and Tony Reeves, Sr. of Pulaski and Crystal Wheeling Cox of Radford; granddaughters, Amanda Delph and husband Billy of Radford, Kristy Cox Dalton and her husband Shane of Draper, Santana W Bell and husband B. J. Bell of Rural Retreat, and Kimberly Carden of Radford; 14 great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law Alice Wheeling Jenkins and husband Heillen of McLeansville, NC; nephew Craig Peirce of Radford; and niece Karen Pierce Montgomery of Pulaski. The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 28, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 pm at the Pulaski Christian Church with Bishop W. David Hoover officiating. A graveside service will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery in Pulaski. In lieu of flowers, the family request that contributions be made to the Brenner Children's Hospital, Wake Forest Baptist, PO Box 571021, Winston-Salem, NC 27157-1021.
