Thomas Lee Hawley, Sr., 64, passed away Friday, August 23, 2013 at his home in Dublin. He was a U. S. Army veteran and was retired from Verizon with over 45 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents Stan and Dora Lee Hawley. Survivors include his children Lee Hawley and his wife Lynda, Michelle Hawley and Brandee Hawley; grandchildren, Trey and Dawson Hawley; brothers and sisters-in-law, Stanley and Margaret Hawley and Danny and Karen Hawley; nieces and nephews; and his special friend and companion, Jean Allen. Military graveside services will be held Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin with Rev. T. Michael Bond officiating. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. The Hawley family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
