Thomas Charles Elliott, 67, passed away Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at his home in Dublin. He was a U. S. Navy veteran and retired from Alliant Tech with 24 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents George and Edna Nystrom Elliott, a brother, George Ed Elliott, Jr., and a stepson, James W. Sloan II. Survivors include his wife Susanne L. Elliott of Dublin; daughter Kathy Stolarek of Joleit, IL; son Tommy Elliott of Joliet, IL; seven stepchildren Patricia Laney of Uma, AZ, Ronald Laughter of Crest Hill, IL, Lissa Firesteine of Las Vegas, NV, Heather Shroyer of St. Cloud, FL, Sherrie Blair of Draper, and Patricia Nobles of Joliet, IL; two brothers, John and Bill Elliott, both of Joliet, IL; two sisters Sharon Richie of Buckingham, IL and Elaine Boros of Joliet, IL; 19 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchildren. Mr. Elliotts cremains will be entombed in the columbarium at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL. Services will be held at a later date.
