Thomas Vernon Bishop, Sr., 72, passed away on Monday, June 7, 2021 at his home in Christiansburg. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Lynn McPeak Bishop; his father, Ralph Vernon Bishop; his mother, Margaret Anne Smith; and a sister. Survivors include his son, Thomas Vernon Bishop, Jr.; brother, Joe (Tammy) Bradley; mother-in-law, Betty McPeak; brother-in-law, Moe McPeak; sister-in-law, Pam (Tommy) Lyons; special friends, Terry Slaughter and Junior (Melanie) Sites; and many other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. on Monday, June 14, 2021 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Services will begin at 2 p.m. with Dr. Rev. Paul Lane officiating. Interment will follow in the Newbern Cemetery in Newbern.
