Theadore James Teddy Hrones, 61, of Radford, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 5, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Nicholas Hrones and Etta Virginia Lawson Hrones and a sister Darlene Whitt. Teddy was a decorated Vietnam War Veteran having served in the US Marine Corp. Survivors include his son, Isaac James Hrones of Norfolk; his daughter Lindsay Virginia Hrones of Norfolk; two brothers, William Nicholas Hrones of Radford and Richard Elvin Whitt of Christiansburg; two sisters, Sophia Hrones Leedy of Pulaski and Vicki Hrones Roop of Pulaski; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be held Tuesday, January 10, 2012, at 11 am at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin, with Pastor Joe McCoy officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to the Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, Ohio 45250, attention gift processing in Teddys honor. The Hrones family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
