Sylvia Belle Osborne Norwood, 90, of Christiansburg, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, November 10, 2015. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles H. Osborne and her second husband, Arthur Norwood. Also preceding her in death were two sons, Charles H. Osborne, Jr. and Arthur W. Norwood, Jr.; her son-in-law, John Riffle; and parents, Margaret and J. R. Smith; and great granddaughter, Jennifer L. Memitt. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Byron and Jessie Osborne of Christiansburg; daughter, Susan Riffle of Las Vegas, Nev.; stepson, Tom Norwood of Delaware; 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren. The family would like to thank Intrepid Hospice and caregivers at Radford Nursing and Rehab. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. on Friday, November 13, 2015 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Services will begin at 2 p.m. with Rev. Mike Vest officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery in Christiansburg.
