Susan Betsy Vaughn, 75, of Floyd, Va., formerly of West Bridgewater, Mass.; passed away at Roanoke Memorial Hospital on Saturday, April 10, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, C. Donald and Grace Ross. She retired from LewisGale Hospital Montgomery, from a lifelone career as a nurse. She is survived by her loving husband, Posey Franklin (Frank) Vaughn; children, William A. (Gemma) Skelton IV of Bremerton, Wash., Geoffrey S. Skelton of Floyd, Va., and Melissa A. (Kenneth Ford) Skelton, Elliston, Va; step-children, Robin (Robert) Jones, Neal (Tonya) Vaughn, and Joel (Beth) Vaughn; siblings, Jane (Rodney) Taylor, Kathleen (Cesar) Elias, William (Tom) Everette (Sandra) Vaughn, and Emma Catherine Vaughn Pauley; grandchildren, Janice (Matt) Benson , John Lontoc, William Skelton V, Jonas (Kylee Kanon) Skelton-Smith, Julivete (Tyler Haas) Skelton, Eli Smith, Zachary Skelton, Geoffrey Skelton Jr, Anthony Caudill, Nikki Jones, Travis (Ashley) Jones, Zachary Ward, Gabbie Vaughn, Alivia Vanover, Wyatt Jones, Payton Jones, and Briar Vaughn; great-grandchildren, Jinelle Lontoc, Madden Benson, Troy Benson, Dezmond Benson, and Nicole Jones; along with many other family and friends.
