Stevie Eschel Simpkins, 69, of Snowville, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at his home in Radford. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clinton and Sadie Viers Simpkins; his brother, Hugh Simpkins; and his sister, Etta Simpkins. Survivors include his son, Madison Ramsey; a special friend, Bonnie Hedge; his brother, Randall Simpkins; and his sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Larry Quesenberry, Patsy and Bob Sharp, Brenda Simpkins, Carolyn Adams, Joan and Donnie Anderson, and Bessie Dehart. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with the Rev. Neil Wood officiating. Interment will follow in Simpkins Cemetery in Snowville. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
