Steel Gray Shanklin, 91, of Radford, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2015. She was a life-long member of Snowville Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jacque Sue Shanklin; and grandson, Jon Allen Shanklin. Survivors include her husband of 69 years, John William Shanklin; son, John Robert Shanklin; granddaughter, Courtney Elizabeth Shanklin; granddaughter-in-law, Angeline M. Shanklin; step great-grandchildren, Nichole, Alyssa, Ashley and Kortni Beinborn, and Cheisi Krueger; step great-great grandson, Mason Triplett; nieces, Tinkie Laymon and Diane Pryor; nephews, Scott Roop and Bill Pryor; and numerous cousins and friends. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. with interment to follow in West View Cemetery in Radford.
