Sidney Either Dalton, Jr., 72, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at his home in New River. He was retired from Lynchburg Foundry after 38 years of service where he was a millwright. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney, Sr. and Martha Dalton; and his son, Duane Dalton. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Connie Dickerson Dalton; son, Douglas Dalton of Madison, Alabama; daughter, Michelle Stanley of New River; 7 grandchildren and their spouses, Demi and Cole Vincent, Dylan Dalton, Tyler and Shannon Dalton, Nicholas Dalton, Jacob Dalton, Caila Stanley, and Sydney and Cody Zaffuto; 5 great grandchildren, Easton Vincent, Bauer Vincent, Carsten Stanley, Ridley Dalton and Maleficent Zaffuto; sister and brother-in-law, Peggy and Dick Hopkins of Georgia; and many other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Rev. Ginny Tompkins officiating.
