Shirley Faye Sutphin King, 67, of Dublin, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2016. She was retired from St. Albans Hospital where she was a supervisor in housekeeping. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh Lee and Martha Saul Sutphin; and brother, Ronald L. Sutphin. Left to cherish her memories are her husband of 49 years, Kenneth Wayne King; children and their spouses, Lynn and Wayne Kissinger of Dublin, Michael King of Floyd, and Scott and Buffy King of Dublin; precious grandchildren, Travis Kissinger and wife Sammi and Jesse Lee King; brother, Robert Sutphin of Newport News; sisters-in-law, Joyce Obaugh of Milford, Effie King of Bristol, Penn. and Linda Rouse and husband Junior of Glade Spring; brother-in-law and his wife, Doug and Kathy King of Jacksonville, Fla.; sister-in-law, Phyliss King of Pulaski; and many other relatives and friends. The family would like to thank the staff of Medi Home Health Hospice for the loving care they provided and Dr. Osemobor and staff.
