Shirley Hollins Bishop, 78, of Radford, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2015. She retired from Radford City Schools working in the cafeteria for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband Ray Wesley Bishop. Survivors include sons and daughter-in-law, Michael and Linda Bishop, and David Bishop, all of Radford; daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Bob Sowers of Christiansburg, Barbara and Larry Treolo of Draper, and Karen Bishop and Stacey Hill of Radford; grandchildren, Jason and Jamie Bishop, Jesse Bishop, Cole Watkins, and Karlee Rae Hill; sisters, Betty and Alice; and many friends. Special thanks to all the staff at English Meadows Nursing Home and Good Samaritan Hospice, for their loving care of Mom. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at West View Cemetery in Radford. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
