Obituary

Sherman Ray Clark, 72, of Dublin, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2015. He was born in Marion the son of the late, George B. Clark, Jr. and Nannie Clark. He was preceded in death by his father, and sister, Betty Powell. Survivors include his wife, Linda L. Clark; mother, Nannie Clark of Marion; step children and their spouses, Todd and Tricia Chandler of Galax, Vickie and Greg Criner of Christiansburg, Brian Chandler of Radford, and Michelle Chandler of Blacksburg; sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Bob Ramsey of Marion; special sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Rhonda Altizer and Judy and Thomas Lytton; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, uncles, aunt and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Rev. Ken Farrar officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. on Monday, November 23, 2015 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place court, Glen Allen, VA 23060 or the American Diabetes Association, 4335 Cox Road, Glen Allen, VA 23060.
