Shelby Annette Horton Adams, 53, of Hillsville, passed away Sunday, October 15, 2017 in UVA Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Claudia Horton; and sisters, Martha Ann Edwards and Donna Jean Horton. Survivors include her husband, David Edward Adams; sons and daughter-in-law, David and Shantel Adams of Max Meadows; daughters, Dallas Dunford of Pulaski and Dana Adams of Barren Springs; brothers, Glenn and John Horton, both of Narrows; sisters and brother-in-law, Linda and Ronald Burnette of Pulaski and Brenda Huff of Sylvatus; 10 grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at the Barren Springs Holiness Church. Memorial services will begin at 7 p.m. with Doug Snow and Rev.
