Sandra Sue Shifflett Lowman, 76, passed away Saturday, May 10, 2025, at her home in Fairlawn. She was a song bird and a proud "Sweet Adeline." She was a medical secretary for over 35 years and a member of Central United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. William P. Shiflett and Margarette Elizabeth Shiflett; and husband, John David Lowman, Sr. Survivors include her daughter, Christi Conner (Kevin); sons, John D. Lowman, Jr. (Beth), and Bruce David Altizer; grandchildren, Cameron Q. Altizer, Isaac S. Altizer (Leona), and Elizabeth Lowman; great grandchildren, Alister E. Altizer; special friends, Peggy Waddel and Michelle Smith: and many other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held 12 Noon on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin.
