Ruth Andrews Turpin, 85, of Radford, passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Thornton H. Turpin. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, David and Pamela Turpin of Elizabethton, TN; sister-in-law Goldie Turpin of Radford; grandchildren, Ashley Lafon and her husband Greg of Elizabethton, TN and Lora M. Turpin of Kansas City, MO; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 20, 2012 at 1:00 pm at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Rev. Jim Walker and Rev. Wayne Poston officiating. Interment will follow in the West View Cemetery in Radford. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the West Radford Church of God, 1824 West Main Street, Radford, Virginia 24141 The Turpin family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
