Ruth Carr McGhee, 85 of Radford, passed away Friday, April 21, 2006. She was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church and retired from Kroger. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Morgan Buddy McGhee. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Marshall Wirt of Radford; a son, James R. McGhee of Singer Island, FL; a granddaughter, Sherry Wirt of Bethpage, TN; a sister, Grace Summers of Princeton, WV; a niece, Rita Doyle of Princeton, WV; and two nephews, Gordon R. Summers of Arlington and Danny Carr, Gainesville, FL. Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 23, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Rev. Randy Morris and Mr. Jim Sutphin officiating. Interment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Saturday evening at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
