Russell Hamilton, 50, of Dublin, passed away Friday, September 2, 2011. He was a machinist with XALOY Corp. for 28 years. He was preceded in death by his father, Carroll Edward Tom Hamilton. Survivors include his loving wife of 24 years, Lisa Boyd Hamilton; his children whom he adored, Cody Russell and McKinzi Brooke Hamilton of the home; mother, Emily S. Hamilton of Dublin; brother and sister-in-law, Jeffery Carroll and Deborah Hamilton of Parrott; mother and father-in-law, C. E. and Beth Boyd of Pulaski; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Tammy and Paul Hamblin of Pulaski; special cousin, Tim Ramsdell; and numerous nieces, nephews and close friends. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at 2 pm at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Dr. C. R. Conner officiating. Interment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 8 pm at the funeral home and any time at the Boyd residence, 4531 Old Tavern Road, Newbern Heights. The Hamilton family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
