Roy Edward Musick, 74, passed away Friday, October 1, 2010 at his home in Snowville. He was retired from RAAP with over 26 years of service but his true occupation was farming and he was a U. S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents William Kermet and Carrie Belle Taylor Musick, and a brother Carl Raymond Musick. Survivors include his wife Julia B. Musick of Snowville; son and daughter-in-law, David E. and Crystal Musick of Snowville; two daughters and sons-in-law Regena and Romney Smith of Newport and Karen and Lannon Cox of Snowville; eight grandchildren Amanda Osborne, Brandon Musick, Zachary Cox, Keri Musick, Seth Cox, Sarah Smith, Mariah Cox and Livia Cox; great grandson Paul Ervin Osborne IV; and three sisters and brothers-in-law Chris and Larry Smith of Hahira, GA, Betty and Jim Price of New York, and Grace and Bob Shockley of Bluefield, WV. Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 3, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Rev. Neil Wood officiating. Entombment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Dublin where members of V. F. W. Post #776 will conduct military graveside rites. The family will receive friends from 6 pm until 8 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
