Ronald Dee Zimmerman, 87, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2017 at his home in Dublin surrounded by his family. He was a member of Dublin United Methodist Church and a U. S. Army veteran serving in the Korean Conflict from 1953-56. He retired from Norton Company in Ravenna, Ohio in 1987, where he was plant manager. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Alberta Zimmerman; his wife, Sara Carter Zimmerman; and brother, Herb Zimmerman. Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Stanley Jay and Christina Zimmerman of Clayton, N.C., Brian Zimmerman of Dublin, and Mark and Judi Zimmerman of Raleigh, N. C.; granddaughters, Nicole, Ashley and Olivia Zimmerman; grandson, Logan Zimmerman; sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Jim McGrath; sister-in-law, Sally Zimmerman; as well as many cousins.
