Ronald Lee Ronnie Hamblin 61 of Dublin passed away Thursday Nov. 11, 2010 at Pulaski Community Hospital. He was a member of St. Judes Catholic Church and was a retired Lieutenant with the Dublin Police Dept. with over 26 years of service, and was a member of the F.O.P. a lifetime member of the Pulaski County Lifesaving Crew, the Pulaski County Touchdown Club and was the lead officiant for Cougar Bingo. Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Layda Casas Hamblin of Dublin, three sons and daughters-in-law; Nito and Lea Hamblin, Dublin, Rickie and Krystal Hamblin, Newbern, and Robbie and Jessica Hamblin of Chesapeake, daughter and son-in-law, Anne Marie and Dwayne Dickerson, Christiansburg, two sisters and brother-in-law; Genie Zunic, Dublin and Shirley Ann and Keith Martin of Vinton, nine grandchildren; Ty, Elisabeth, Taylor Marie, Josie, Peyton, Joe, Allen, Nathaniel and Connor. A funeral mass will be held Friday, November 12, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Judes Catholic Church in Radford, with Father John Prinelli officiating. Interment will follow on Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Friday at St. Judes Catholic Church. The Hamblin family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
