Ronald Bane, age 56, departed this life on Thursday, May 26, 2022. Those left to cherish Ronald's memory include parents, Lewis and Elizabeth Bane of Parrott; brothers, Doug (Lisa) of Pulaski, and Dennis (Cissy) of Dublin; daughter Anna; and a multitude of nieces, nephews, special friends and love ones. Ronald also had special children in his life that he adored, including "Nathan and Cierra". Ronald grew up as a native son of Parrott, Virginia, and enjoyed fishing the river and hunting the mountains. Ronald never met a stranger, and for those who knew him, having him as a friend was a good thing. The old saying "he would give the shirt off his back", was appropriate for Ronald, who helped anyone in need, as much as he was able. Ronald was a skilled carpenter by trade, and worked in the concrete industry for many years. Ronald had an eye for genuine quality in his work, and many homes bear his workmanship detail in their build. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at the Parrott Church of God. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12-2 p.m. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin.
