Roger Lee Ratcliff, 63, passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at his home in Radford. He was retired from Radford University with 32 years of service and also from Shentel. He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer Edward and Elsie Albert Ratcliff, and three brothers. Survivors include his wife, Sheila Ratcliff; sons and daughters-in-law, Lee Andrew and Laurie Ratcliff of Hiwassee, Peter Aaron and Michelle Ratcliff of Unionville, and Timothy Paul and Lora Ratcliff of Fairlawn; grandchildren, Alyssa, Alley, Aaron and Brianna; sisters and brother-in-law, Bonnie and A. W. Spangler of Marion, and Connie Owens of Radford; sister-in-law, Marie Ratcliff of Radford; and brother-in-law and his wife, Norman Daniel and Christine Myers of Wytheville. Memorial services will be held Thursday, November 6, 2014 at 7:00 pm at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Dr. Hal Adams officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 5:00 pm.
