Roger Lee Mitchell, 74, of Radford, passed away Saturday, September 2, 2017. He was retired from Lynchburg Foundry with over 40 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Izola Mitchell. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Bonnie N. Mitchell; sons, David and Donald Mitchell; daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Gene Moore; grandchildren, Cody Mitchell and Andrew Moore, all of Radford; brothers and sister-in-law, Carson and Diane Mitchell of Radford, and Gillis Mitchell of Dublin; sister and brother-in-law, Dinah and John Morris of Roanoke; and many other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at the West View Cemetery in Radford with Rev. Zane Cox and Rev. Brian Mitchell officiating.
