Roger Dale Lyons, 63, of Dublin, passed away Sunday, February 28, 2010. He was an employee of Radford University. Survivors include his wife, Maxine Hall Lyons of Dublin; sons and daughters-in-law, Roger Dale, Jr. and Amanda Lyons of Elliston, David and Marsha Lyons of Mooresville, NC, and Dustin and Faye Lyons of Dublin; five grandchildren Dylan Wayne Lyons, Kylie Noelle Lyons, Kimberly Brooke Lyons, Brooke Erin Lyons and Ariawyn Lauren Lyons; brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Lois Lyons of Dublin and Duane and LouAnn Lyons of Huntsville, AL; and sisters and brothers-in-law, Alma and Graham Gallimore of Barren Springs, Iris Williams of Dublin, and Anita and Damon Dean of Dublin. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 4, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Elder Donnie Conner officiating. Interment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. The Lyons family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
