Robert Melvin Young, 69, of Christiansburg, passed away Monday, May 28, 2018. He was employed with MOOG. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert Lewis and Mamie Keith Young. Survivors include his wife, Mary Williams Young of Christiansburg; daughter and son-in-law, Nicole and David Lee of Christiansburg; son, Robbie Lewis Young of Christiansburg; grandchildren, Robert Adrian Young, Landon Michael Lee, Matthew Lewis Lee and Tabitha Ann Lee; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dennis and Chew Young of Roanoke, and Woody and Betty Young of Dublin; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 1, 2018 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Rev. Buford Linkous officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery in Pulaski County. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.
