Robert William Sagers, 87, of Dublin, passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2026. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wade Hampton and Alice Jones Sager; four sisters; and 2 brothers.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Rebecca Bess Sagers; sons and daughters-in-law, Judson Sagers (Kristin), and John Sagers (Wendy); stepsons and their spouses, Andrew Kenney (Kelly), Jeff Kenny (Kristen), and Jamie Kenny (Gina); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and special friends.

A graveside service with full military honors will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, October 5, 2026, at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin with Rev. Morgan Whitfield officiating.
