Robert Addington Mann, 92, of Dublin, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2013. He was a US Army veteran having served during WWII and retired welder with U. S. Steel in Gary, WVa. Survivors include his wife, Dorthy Hull Mann of Dublin; daughter, Gwendlyn Dillon of Beckley, WVa; grandsons, Steve Birkelbach and John Birkelbach and his wife Raye; and great-grandchildren, Mia, Cooper and Maggie Birkelbach. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, January 25, 2013 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford, with Rev. Matthew Kidd officiating. Members of VFW Post #776 will conduct military last rites following the service at the funeral home. Interment will be private at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Dublin Fire Dept., PO Box 699, Dublin, VA 24084. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the Mullins Funeral Home. The Mann family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford, Virginia.
