Robert Lee Duncan, 77, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2015 at his home in Radford. He was a retired contractor and a longtime member of Gethsemane Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy W. and Hazel Showalter Duncan, and two brothers, Junior and Billy Duncan. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Idell R. Duncan; daughter and son-in-law, Connie Sue and Butch McCoy of Eggleston; son and daughter-in-law, Robert Keith and Judy S. Duncan of Christiansburg; sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Jim Tedder of Fairfax; 5 grandchildren, Shannon, Roy, Jackie, Amanda and Jordan; 3 great-grandchildren, Dixie, Rowan and Finn; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, September 16, 2014 at Gethsemane Baptist Church in Radford with Pastor Jerry Gibson officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Tuesday evening at the church.
