Robert Painter "Buckeye" Harris, 82, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at his home in Radford. He was a U.S.A.F. veteran and was retired from Hartford Insurance located in Hartford, Connecticut. He was preceded in death by his parents, Judson and Frances Harris; brother, Dr. Judson Harris; and sister, Betty Johnson. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Mary Virginia Harris; son, Mark Harris; daughters and sons-in-law, Sandy Prisk Buettiker and Alex, and Karen Savvides and Savva; grandchildren, Katy Prisk Duncan (Steph), Jessica Prisk, Matthew Prisk, George Savvides, Athena Savvides, and Ares Savvides; niece, Gwen Cannaday; and many other relatives and friends.
