Robert Irving Felch, 86, of Radford, Virginia, passed away on December 12, 2005. Bob was born on May 4, 1919 in West Concord, Massachusetts, the only child of Thomas Irving and Alice (Stickney) Felch. He attended Lehigh University (BSc), George Washington University (MBA), Harvard University (AMP), and Florida State University (PhD). He was a colonel in the U.S. Army with 32 years of service and a Professor Emeritus at Radford University. Bob is survived by Frances, his loving wife of 58 years, son Bruce Felch (San Jose, CA), and daughters Anne Park (Claremont, NH), Gail Lawson (Southbury, CT) and Dana Giesen (Radford, VA). He is also survived by daughter-in-law Sharol Felch and sons-in-law David Park, Erik Lawson and John Giesen, as well as eight grandchildren: Sarah and Aubrea Felch, Nicholas and Jeffrey Park, Olivia and Andrew Lawson, and Jake and Laura Giesen. A memorial service will be held at Grace Episcopal Church in Radford on Thursday, December 15, at 11:30 a.m. There will be a reception immediately following the service in the Parish Hall. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Grace Episcopal Memorial Garden Fund. The Felch family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford, Virginia.
