Obituary

Rickie Ray Dunbar, 62, of Radford, passed away Sunday, July 13, 2025. He was born in West Virginia, the son of the late Elmo Seth and Monnie Workman Dunbar, and graduated in 1982 from Clear Fork High School. His hobbies included fishing, riding his Harley motorcycle, and listening to music, but spending time with his family was his favorite pastime. He attended the Church of God of Prophecy in Radford. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Cathy Dunbar Stover; brother and sister-in-law, Elmo Dwayne and Sheila Dunbar. Survivors include his wife, Sharon Dunbar; daughter, Jennifer Dunbar (Michael); son, Josh (Ashley) Dunbar; grandchildren, Jerrick and Jayce Crowder, and Weston and Waylon Dunbar; special kids, Caigen and Legend; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services will follow with Rev. Zane Cox and Rev. Tom Warren officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery in Radford.
