Richard "Dick" Eddie Kidd, Sr., 85, of Radford, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2022. He graduated from both Bluefield College and VA Tech, followed by two years of service to his country in the U. S. Army. He was retired from Hercules where he was the H. R. Manager and was a faithful member of Grove United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Cecil and Mattie Hartsock Kidd; and his son, Richard Eddie Kidd, Jr. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Geneta Gardner Kidd; daughter and son-in-law, Mitzi and Steven Reed; brother, Don Kidd; and many other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 12 until 1 p.m. on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at Grove United Methodist Church. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. at the church.
