Richard Earl Bishop, 72, went to be with the Lord Jesus on Sunday, December 14, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Noah Staple and Margaret Sue Bishop. Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Deborah Ann Bishop; daughters, Angela Dawn Bishop of Blacksburg and Pamela Sue Bishop and Fianc Rusty Moore of Christiansburg; grandchildren, Ashton Moore, Morgan Presgraves, Dustyn Presgraves, Ashlynn Presgraves, Tyler Weeks, and Ryleigh Weeks. The family will receive friends from 10 am until 11 am on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Gethsemane Baptist Church in Radford. Memorial services will follow with Pastor Jerry Gibson, Rev Russell Gordon, Dr. Thomas McDearis, and Rev Todd Millsap officiating.
